With the CFY YCC adapter cable featuring 1x 3.5 mm stereo mini jack socket to 2x male cinch, for example, a simple stereo signal is split into two mono components. Thus, a system, in which only one signal is actually available, can be used in stereo mode.
Both the mini jack and the Cinch plugs come from REAN made by Neutrik® and are hand soldered. Their gold plated contacts effectively protect against corrosion. The wire cross-section is 2x 0.22mm² and at both ends the splits are approx. 15 cm long. The cables are color coded (red/black) to facilitate the distinction between right and left.
