The DAP DRX-8A is an active full-range 8-inch speaker with a peak power of 350 watt (175 W RMS). This smallest DRX model is intended for on-the-road use, suitable for music at small-size parties and other gatherings. It’s a 2-way system that can deliver a maximum SPL of 119 dB at 1 m. For an enhanced bass performance we recommend to use the DRX-8A together with the DRX-10BA subwoofer.
The DRX-8A is ideal for mobile applications due to its lightweight, compact design with built-in handle, scratch-resistant black finish and 15 mm thick MDF. It therefore easily survives the rigours of frequent touring. Besides, the DRX-8A can be installed on a universal speaker stand due to its 35 mm pole mount.
The internal 350 watt amplifier is equipped with a XLR/Jack input and XLR line output connector, volume control and switchable ground lift. Accessoires are optional, such as speaker stands, distance tubes, cables and 8 mm hanging eyes.
